I ADIL DINSHAW IRANI am standing for Bombay Parsi Panchayat Trustees Election to be held on Sunday 29th May 2022. My mother Late Mini D Daruwala married my father Dinshaw R Irani.

I am a result-oriented person, who always will work for the welfare and betterment of our Zoroastrian Community. I have put in 32 years of service with Air India. I am a life member of Parsi Gymkhana, WZCC, WZO, PSOI and also a member of WAPIZ. In 1992 I scored  maximum number of votes at the Anjuman Committee Elections.

Social service - I attend to Parsi Senior Citizens help them with- banking, medical issues and other needs (taking them to doctors and procuring medicines for them), doing their investments and ancillary day to day job. I work as a Financial Advisor attached with Life Insurance, Health Insurance, HDFC & other Company Deposits and Mutual funds.

TRUSTEESHIP WOULD GIVE ME A PLATFORM TO :

• 
  Protect sanctity of Udvada Iranshah and Atash Behrams and Agairies of Mumbai and  Agairies and Parsi Dharamshalas of India with the help of various Zoroastrain Associations in India.
  
• Upliftment of Mobeds (Dasturjis) and availability of Mobeds (Dasturjis) at Doongerwadi and all Agairies at all times.With respect to Priests will start Zoroastrian Dharma Gyan Classes in all Colonies & Baugs.
  
• Protect our Doongerwadi land and Dokhmenashin our ritual for disposal of dead. I am devoted to the Traditions and Customs of our Zoroastrian Religion. With all your blessings I will work for the interest & well being of Pallbearers (Khandias & Nassesalars) of Mumbai, Dahanu, as they are the persons who lay our bodies to rest in Dokhma.
  
• Will work to arrest our declining population by preventing the exodus of young boys and girls marrying outside our community. To achieve that will set up a community marriage committee in each of the Parsi colonies and baugs which will liaise with the BPP marriage bureau.
  
• Housing Allotment Merit Rating Scheme: We have a priceless gift - Housing for our community from our benefactors. As a Trustee I will protect this gift. Topmost priority shall be given to 'to be married couples' & 'family with more than 4 members. Will ensure that leave and license agreements are converted into tenancy agreements with no increase in rent and service charges.
  
• The Trust and its Properties belong to its Beneficiaries and no one else but its Beneficiaries. Allot flats to needy Zoroastrian families on Tenancy agreement. Auction of flats is not the right practice as few families are benefited by it.
  
• Allot houses and accommodate Parsi families living beyond Goregaon viz Borivali, Vasai, Virar, in the various colonies and Baugs from South Mumbai to Goregaon.
  
• Secure Minority Status for our community which will provide employment opportunity to our younger generation for government jobs, will also guide the youth of our community to opt for government service. Provide funds to younger generation who wish to pursue higher professional education.
  
• Women Empowerment and Professionalism must be acknowledged in today's times. Gender equality at work place is my priority.
  
• Will devote time from Monday to Friday at BPP office to attend to the community  work of BPP and will visit every colony, baug also Gilder Baug and Dhanbai wadi every month to attend to resident’s grievances.
  

 
ALL Voters can count on me as a Candidate of their choice who has got the time, patience and dedication to attend and solve all your problems for the next 5+5=10 years. I would be honored if the community chooses to vote for me on 29th May 2022 at BPP Trustees Election.
